Who We Are: Blacklist Creations is a Makeup company. We range from Bridal Makeup and Face Painting to Special Effects and transforming props for Haunted Houses. Megan Ketchmark developed the company while doing “Character” and “Haunt” makeup at Nightmares Basement of the Dead Commercial Haunted House in Aurora, Illinois. Her grandparents, George and Cathi Carpenter, owned and operated the haunt for approximately 10 years. Megan’s grandparents sold Nightmares in Spring of 2010 and the new owners hired her to be their Lead makeup artist for the 2010 season which received great reviews. Since then, Megan formed Blacklist Creations and extended her range into Bridal Makeup and Face Painting, and is available for any of your makeup needs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nBlacklist Creations is also an Arts and Crafts company. We make seasonal\/non-seasonal crafts which add an extra touch to your home\u00a0or\u00a0business. We also have a variety of paintings that will enhance any room you desire.

What We Are Looking For: Blacklist Creations is always looking to help haunts with makeup, scene set up, scene ideas and actor training. We also take old props and give them a new customized look specific to your haunt or attraction. We are very detailed and make everything as realistic as possible. We have almost 10 years experience in the haunted attraction field. While Blacklist Creations specializes in special effects makeup, we are available to meet your Bridal Makeup needs. We are also available to do face painting at parties.
